Traditional farms that are managed from generation to generation by promoting environmentally friendly cultivation without using additional food and chemicals, this activity is always inherited by their ancestors.

The use of cultivated land cannot be forced to produce more, a cultivation system by adjusting the ecosystem in the cultivation area which will affect the success of cultivation. For cultivation sustainability, several aspects that need to be considered:

First: Traditional farmers are small scale farmers with low capital, with a simple cultivation method, capital is used for maintenance of ponds, canals, shrimp and operational purchases during cultivation.Increasing the knowledge of cultivation in each farmer and farm worker needs an increase with direction and assistance from the government and the private sector in the fisheries sector. The interest of the young generation in cultivation is very important for the continuity of cultivation.

Second: Spread density is 3-4 pcs per m2, although there are not many fries, it still needs access to get good and quality fries

Third: The enormous challenge of cultivation needs improvement in the cultivation system. Considering the need for changes in improving environmentally friendly and sustainable cultivation, PT. ATINA held discussions with farmers to find alternative cultivation systems traditionally and sustainability.

PT. ATINA and farmers conducted a trial of the use of supporting materials for liquid organic fertilizer, originating from the leaves around the pond, which are useful for growing natural food and maintaining the health of shrimp.
